Competition Structure Back

All competitions are organised under the auspices of the Guild of Bricklayers and must be co-ordinated by the regional competition secretary in association with the host college and in accordance with the current Guild Policy.

The Junior Competition is of 5 hours duration and for a single competitor.

The Senior Competition is of 6 hours duration and also for a single competitor.

The Junior Competition is for new entrants with little / no site experience who should be working towards S/NVQ / Diploma level

The Senior Competition is for trainees who should be working towards S/NVQ / Diploma level 3.

Each college within the region is allowed 1 competitor at each level

Competitors cannot enter the same level if they have been a previous winner at that level (this applies to both levels)

All JUNIOR and SENIOR competition test pieces, layout details and mark sheets will be provided by, and marked by Guild appointed judges.

If you wish to enter a Regional Competition and not sure which section you belong to please complete the following entry form, use it for both Senior and Junior competitors, deleting as appropriate, and post it to the Competition Secretary:-
